Honu Play produces  GRETA THE GREAT™, a children’s toy made from discarded fishing nets and other end-of-life maritime industry plastics. The founder, Claire Matthews, was on maternity leave when she heard that by 2050 there would be more plastic in the ocean than fish. She wants her children and future grandchildren to have beautiful, healthy oceans they can swim in safely, and she wants to be proud of the planet that she passes on to them. So she created GRETA THE GREAT™ - a playful solution to plastic pollution!
